the only highlight of my stay at this 'charming' inn was the proximity to food options. unfortunately, the room smelled like a ashtray and had dirt in the tub. i expected a room upgrade for my troubles, but apparently that’s too much to ask. it was almost good enough for a decent review, but i just couldn't.

We had a fun family getaway, exploring Cook Forest State Park nearby. The kids loved canoeing, and it was great sharing the experience with a few couples who joined us. The location is vibrant, filled with options for outdoor activities.

The room had a microwave, flat-screen TV, and refrigerator which made things easy. Plenty of toiletries were available like shampoo and body soap. The bathroom was private with a proper shower. The air conditioning worked great, and the room had good heating. Comfortable enough for a solo traveler.
